They will pick up your automobile at your home and place it on a flatbed and take it to the nearest destination terminal of where you want it shipped to. The first thing you have to know is that you have carriers and then you have brokers. Brokers will look for a carrier for you and if they can’t find one, will call and ask you for more money and change all the information of the transit time and dates. You have to go to a carrier yourself and not use a broker. It will save you more time.
When you are ready to book your automobile move, you will need to provide all the information the carrier would need and after you do all that, they’ll give you an estimate of the move. Ask them if your automobile is going to be transported inside the carrier or on the outside. You might want your car in the middle of the truck just for your own peace of mind and to preserve the automobile.
The next thing I did was prepare my automobile for the shipping by making sure nothing was inside it that was valuable to me. You have to remove the spare tire and the grill cover too. You’ll need to make sure you have gas and transmission fluid and oil.
I had to be available for a representative to come to my home and look at my automobile to inspect it for any scratches and dents so that I can’t say that they did any damage to my automobile in transit.
You will then be able to track your automobile to see where it is at all times if you want to do that which is great and then when the car reaches its destination, you will get a call to schedule a delivery or maybe you want to go get the automobile at its destination.
